They are probably one of my favorite couples ever. I’m so happy for them to follow their dreams and take on their medical residencies in Chicago together, but selfishly I’m sad I won’t get to see them anymore. It’s amazing how quickly my clients can feel like close friends!
Lydia and Zach’s personalities are simply contagious and their wedding was packed with plenty of like-minded people. Truly a great circle to be surrounded by! The day was filled with so much laughter and love. Getting genuine smiles from this wedding party was a breeze!
You could see that everyone felt the same way I did about these precious newlyweds. They are so easy to be around. They’re incredibly generous and inviting. And, I know I keep saying this, but I felt like we’d known each other for years!
One of my favorite personal touches from the day was the wedding favors. Lydia’s family keeps bees and they sell their honey at the local farmers market. They gave away little jars of honey to each their guests which I thought was so original and unique to them. I love seeing little details at weddings that share part of the couple’s story or where they came from.
These two are so photogenic and in love which, of course, makes my job super easy! Here’s a sneak peek of their rustic barn wedding and the beginning of their happily ever after.
